On 23 February 2023, at approximately 0648 hours local time, three unknown suspects used explosives to attack two bank ATMs in Setia Alam and fled the scene with an estimated 349,000 Malaysian ringgit [~$78,683]. According to authorities, the explosion was caused by gas pressure. No further details on the explosives have been released. The ATMs were destroyed, but no injuries were reported. On 21 February 2023, Nazareth Police Department officers discovered IEDs, nine firearms, and narcotics, while responding to a domestic incident at a residence on Easton Road.
