On 6 December 2022, at approximately 0130 hours local time, local police responded to a restaurant in Rotterdam after an explosive device was functioned at the establishment, shattering the building’s windows. No injuries were reported. No further device details have been released. Authorities are investigating the link between this attack and other restaurants of the same chain that have been targeted with shootings and explosive attacks in Dordrecht, Rotterdam, and The Hague over the past few weeks.

Oklahoma: BMM Discovered in Employee’s Work Locker

On 5 December 2022, Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) officers found bomb-making material (BMM) in the work locker of a 52-year-old Minnesota man who was arrested on 2 December at a warehouse in Oklahoma City following a disturbance call. No further details about the BMM have been released. OCPD officers also found drugs in the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect, who initially hid in the warehouse and resisted arrest, will be extradited to Minnesota and faces drug and eluding charges.

Mexico: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

The suspects broke the windows of the bank to enter the building and placed explosives in front of the ATM before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Thailand: IED Functioned on Train Tracks, 3 Killed

Florida: Pyrotechnics Ignited at Warehouse, 3 Killed

On 1 December 2022, at approximately 1910 hours local time, Orange County Fire Rescue crews responded after pyrotechnics were ignited and a fire broke out at an Orlando warehouse that stores pyrotechnics for tourist attractions. Three employees were killed, and two other employees were injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

United Kingdom: IIDs Used to Target Office

On 5 December 2022, at approximately 0215 hours local time, the London Fire Brigade responded to an office building in Cricklewood after unidentified suspects threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails and firebombs, at an office that supports families of political prisoners. No further device details have been released. Firefighters extinguished the fire which destroyed a ground-floor bin room and damaged the front door. There were no reported injuries.
