Mexico: IIDs Thrown at Butcher Shop

On 2 November 2022, at approximately 0230 hours local time, local authorities responded to a butcher shop on Juan Alonso de Torres Boulevard in Leon after unidentified suspects threw several improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, at the building. Fire crews extinguished the blaze, which caused minor damage to the facade. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

France: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

On 1 November 2022, at approximately 0330 hours local time, local police responded to a bank in Saint Maur-des-Fosses commune in Paris after three unidentified suspects used explosives to target the ATM, transfer several large bags from the ATM, and flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No further details about the explosives have been released. The explosion destroyed the ATM and scattered debris across the street, but no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
