On 17 November 2024, at approximately 1736 hours local time, Miami County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence on the 7600 block of U.S. Route 40 in Bethel Township following a report of a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. As deputies were interviewing the woman, she indicated concerns of an IED in the garage, allegedly created by her husband. The Dayton Bomb Squad was called in to assist. Bomb squad technicians examined the device, described as a professional-grade pyrotechnic taped to a gallon of "tiki torch oil” and concealed in a small gym bag.

On 19 November 2024, Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) deputies discovered 2 IEDs, 28 pounds of cannabis, and 3 firearms while executing a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence on Burning Ember Lane in Palm Coast. FCSO deputies called the St. John's County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad to assist, and bomb technicians took possession of the devices. No additional details on the devices were provided. A 51-year-old male suspect was arrested. The ATF is assisting in analyzing the devices, and the investigation is ongoing.

On 15 November 2024, an IED, described as a rudimentary explosive device, was functioned during student-led anti-government protests in Turin, resulting in 15 police officers taken to a local hospital after being exposed to its fumes. The incident occurred during protests that included students allegedly attempting to bypass a security cordon to reach the door of the prefecture building in the central Piazza Castello. No further device details have been released. An investigation is ongoing. 
 

On 20 November 2024, at approximately 0400 hours local time, Barrie Police and Ontario Provincial Police discovered multiple unspecified IEDs in an RV at a parking lot in Barrie, Ontario, after an armed 43-year-old male suspect barricaded himself in the vehicle for approximately 16 hours. Local crisis negotiators worked with authorities to get the suspect to surrender before he was taken into custody. The Barrie Police Explosives Disposal Unit was called to assist following the discovery of the IEDs. Bomb technicians rendered the IEDs safe and removed them from the scene.

On 7 November 2024, at approximately 0000 hours local time, Portland Fire and Rescue responded following reports of a fire at a residence on the 2200 block of Southeast Salmon Street in Portland. Authorities found that the suspect allegedly threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a “Molotov cocktail–like device,” on the front porch of the home, starting the fire. Portland Fire Bureau and Arson Investigators determined that the fire was intentionally set with an accelerant. No injuries were reported, but the home sustained moderate damage.
