On 26 July 2024, at approximately 2200 hours local time, a 42-year-old male suspect forcefully entered a home on the 400 block of West Fourth Street in Elmira and threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, at the living room wall. The IID functioned and lit part of the wall and floor on fire before the suspect fled the scene. The resident and neighbors were able to extinguish the blaze before calling the Elmira Police Department (EPD) and Elmira Fire Department, who both responded to the scene, along with New York State Fire Investigators.

On 24 July 2024, Kuna Police Department officers responded to a residence near East 4th Street and Orchard Avenue in Kuna, where they discovered explosive devices and suspicious chemicals in the home's garage. The Boise Police Department Bomb Squad, FBI, and Idaho National Guard 101st Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team were called in to assess, process, and remove the devices and chemicals. The homeowner, a 37-year-old man, was not present during the investigation.

On 29 July 2024, Colorado River Sheriff’s Station deputies, with the assistance of the Riverside County Probation Department, conducted a probation compliance check at a residence on the 17000 block of Blythe Way in the unincorporated area of Blythe. At the residence, authorities discovered two unspecified explosive devices, causing other homes in the vicinity to be evacuated. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Hazardous Device Team responded to assist, rendered the devices safe, and removed them for later disposal.

On 26 July 2024, Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputies encountered a man and a woman pushing a motorcycle along Zehner Road in Athens while investigating a report of a stolen motorcycle. Deputies attempted to contact the pair, but the suspects fled the scene, dropping two backpacks in the process. Deputies recovered the backpacks and discovered what they believed to be an IED inside one of them. The Huntsville Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to the scene. Bomb squad technicians examined the device, confirmed it to be an IED, and rendered it safe.

On 29 July 2024, Carabinieri personnel from the Castellammare di Stabia Company responded to an area of Santa Maria la Carità in Naples following a report of the discovery of an explosive device. The area was secured, and the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Naples’s Bomb Squad responded to the scene along with local firefighters. Bomb technicians examined the IED, shown in a picture as a large drum wrapped in plastic with a cylindrical piece attached to the top that has a thin blue tube running down the side of the device with what appeared to be burn marks.
