Dayton: On 20 November 2025, at approximately 2244 local time, the Dayton Police Department bomb squad responded to a report of a vehicle explosion on Gilbert Avenue. According to police, the on-scene assessment indicated that an improvised explosive device damaged the victim's vehicle. No injuries were reported. The incident is under investigation.
Las Vegas: On 13 November 2025, at approximately 0219 local time, two male suspects dressed in black were observed placing an improvised explosive device (IED), outside an Italian restaurant on Convention Center Drive near the Las Vegas strip. Witnesses report one of the men lit a fuse which burned for "several minutes" before the device detonated. The Las Vegas Police Department counterterrorism section was notified at approximately 1030 hours and are investigating along with the FBI and ATF. The restaurant was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Grand Island: On 05 November 2025, at approximately 0024 local time, Grand Island Police Department (GIPD) responded to a reported explosion on South Pine St. that damaged a 72-year-old man's truck. Police stated the explosion caused damage to the truck's windshield, interior, and engine. GIPD reported no injuries and assured the public there is no immediate danger. Authorities are working to determine whether the explosive was homemade or purchased. The investigation is ongoing.
Lake St. Louis: On 15 November 2025, in the evening, two explosions were reported by concerned citizens in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. The explosion was captured by home cameras in the vicinity. The Lake St. Louis Police Department arrested two juvenile suspects. There were no details on the devices that caused the explosions, and they were described as "DIY explosives."
Princeton: On 17 November 2025, at approximately 0400 local time, Princeton Police Department responded to a report of explosions in Princeton, Massachusetts. Investigation identified a 27-year-old male suspect who was stopped on 20 November 2025; a search of his vehicle uncovered nine improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded along with the Massachusetts Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the Massachusetts Fire Marshal's Office. The devices were rendered safe.
Boston: On 01 November 2025, at approximately 0245 local time, an explosion occurred on the fourth floor of the Goldenson Building at Harvard Medical School. A university police officer responding to a fire alarm at the Goldenson Building observed two suspects running away. The Boston Fire Department determined the blast to be intentionally set; a police sweep did not identify any additional devices. Investigators determined that an explosive – believed to have been a large, commercial firework – detonated within a wooden locker in the fourth-floor research laboratory.
Berkeley: On 10 November 2025, Turning Point USA held its final stop of the "American Comeback Tour" at the University of California Berkeley. Outside the event, masked protesters set off smoke bombs and video appeared to show flares or other incendiary devices being used. At least four suspects were arrested. The FBI led Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, are going to investigate.
Moatsville: On 30 November 2025, at approximately 1600 local time, police executed an arrest warrant for a 49-year-old male suspect on a drug charge at his residence near Moatsville, West Virginia. The suspect had barricaded himself in his residence. After a brief standoff, police entered the residence, where they discovered guns, ammunition, three throwable improvised explosive devices (IEDs), one suspected bomb and a modified hand grenade. A bomb technician assigned to the West Virginia State Police Explosives Response team responded and safely rendered the explosives safe.
Houston: On 08 November 2025, at approximately 1557 local time, a suspicious device believed to be an improvised explosive device, was discovered in an apartment complex in Houston, Texas. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office bomb squad responded and after examining the device, using x-rays among other techniques, rendered the device safe.
Rock Hill: On 22 November 2025, at approximately 0300 local time, Rock Hill Police Department (PD) closed US-21 after a grenade was found in a vehicle following a crash. The Rock Hill PD bomb squad assessed the ordnance and removed it after identifying it was inert.
