Clarksville: On 15 August 2026, around 1438 local time, Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Bomb Squad, Clarksville Fire Rescue, Montgomery County EMS, and US Army EOD technicians from Fort Campbell responded to a blasting cap found at a re-sale store on Needmore Road in Clarksville, TN. A store employee found the blasting cap in a donated green bag. After evacuating the store, MCSO Bomb Squad and Army EOD technicians evaluated and removed the device for disposal the following day. The investigation remains ongoing.

Tres Piedras / Canjilon: On 10 August 2026, ATF, New Mexico State Police Bomb Squad, and US Forest Service responded after a homemade explosive device was found in Carson National Forest on State Road 115 in Canjilon, NM.
