West Bloomfield Township: On 12 March 2026 around 1230 local time, a 41‑year‑old armed suspect rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield, striking a security guard. The guard exchanged gunfire with the suspect, who later died from a gunshot wound.

Police discovered multiple explosive devices on the suspect. The Porter County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded to mitigate the devices.

Deputies detained a 20‑year‑old male at the home.

Kansas: Device Found in Park Appeared Weathered; Rendered Safe

Nebraska: Drugs and Pipe Bomb Discovered After Vehicle Accident; One Arrested

Byron: On 6 March 2026 at approximately 0230 local time, Thayer County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 hang‑up call and located a 30‑year‑old suspect involved in a vehicle crash. Deputies found marijuana, unidentified pills, a glass pipe with residue, and cocaine.

After the suspect was taken to a hospital, deputies conducted a probable‑cause search of the vehicle and located a galvanized pipe with a green fuse, commonly referred to as a pipe bomb. The Nebraska State Bomb Squad confirmed it was an explosive device.

Washington: Suspected Device Found Inside Vehicle; Rendered Safe, Suspect in Custody

Port Orchard: On 5 March 2026 in the evening, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded to the Mullenix Market on Southeast Mullenix Road after officers found a suspected explosive device inside a 25‑year‑old suspect’s vehicle. A small quantity of methamphetamine was also recovered.

The bomb squad neutralized the device. The suspect was taken into custody but transported to a hospital for an unspecified medical issue.
