Oregon: Traffic Stop in Marion County leads to Discovery of Methamphetamine and Homemade Explosive Device
On 27 August 2025 at approximately 0245 hours, a traffic stop was conducted in Marion County, Oregon. During the stop, the Marion County Sheriff discovered a 36-year-old man in possession of approximately 5 grams of methamphetamine and a homemade explosive device. The Salem Police Bomb Squad successfully rendered the explosive device safe. The individual was arrested and now faces multiple charges.
